Hi all,

I have a very simple scenario: A 500m long road with 2 lanes. At the end 
of the road it shrinks to a new road with only a single lane.
Initially  there are three cars:
Two simulator controlled cars on the left lane with an initial speed of 
0m/s. One starts at the beginning of the lane and another one after 300m.
Additionally there is a remote controlled car(with TraCI) at a distance 
of 100m from the beginning of the right lane. Our car is trying to 
change its lane to left, while accellerating with maximum accelleration.

All cars use the following type:
<vType accel="5.0" decel="5.0" id="Car" length="5.0" minGap="0.5" 
maxSpeed="50.0" sigma="0" />
and the simulator is started with the parameters: --step-length 0.001 -S 
--time-to-teleport -1.

However, the remote controlled car does not change the lane!  The car at 
300m does also not change to the right lane, like the car at 0m.

When I relocate the 300m car e.g. at 80m, everything works perfect: Both 
simulator controlled cars change to the right lane and the remote 
controlled car to the left lane.

Is the anything I can do to allow the cars to change the lane. I olso 
toyed around with the car-following strategys and the impatience 
value... no change.
