Hi All,

Firstly, big thanks for implementing the new lane change behaviour and
making it available via traci. I've added in a call for this in the
traci4j I'm using, and I think, it works perfectly! I've just set it
to int 0, as from how I understand your bit set explanation, this
pretty much turns everything off, meaning my AI agents would have to
control things, or else there would be a collision.

Which brings me on to a follow up question.. I've re-run my motorway
sim, and vehicles do seem to behave as I'd expect, staying in the
designated lane. I set a lead vehicle to me 1m/s slower than a
following vehicle, as I want to implement an institution governance
model, where the following car flashes its headlights when the gap is
small, and the leading car receives an obligation to move out of the
way.

At the moment, without this, the following car I think collides with
the leading car. My question is, is there a way to detect / infer
collisions? I was going to add a check on teleported vehicles each sim
step, but that could be vehicles leaving the sim due to completing
their route, right? Any way of telling if these are natural exits, or
collisions?

Then I'd add some smoke or something to that vehicle in the 3D view,
as a visual explanation of what has gone on.

Thanks!

Vincent
