Hello, currently there is no such tool. Usually we write custom scripts and do a binomial distribution B(n,p) (which in the limit case is equivalent to a poisson distribution) by emitting a vehicle in every simulation step with probability p for n steps. regards, Jakob
PS: There are plans to eventually allow this directly in SUMO ( http://sumo-sim.org/trac.wsgi/ticket/475) 2014-02-03 Marie-Ange Lebre <[email protected]>: > Hello ! > > I need a Poisson distribution for the entering flows on my simulation, is > there a tool to do that ? > > Thanks a lot ! > > M-Ange > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Managing the Performance of Cloud-Based Applications > Take advantage of what the Cloud has to offer - Avoid Common Pitfalls. > Read the Whitepaper. > > http://pubads.g.doubleclick.net/gampad/clk?id=121051231&iu=/4140/ostg.clktrk > _______________________________________________ > sumo-user mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/sumo-user > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Managing the Performance of Cloud-Based Applications Take advantage of what the Cloud has to offer - Avoid Common Pitfalls.
