The problem is with using the option --left-hand http://sumo-sim.org/wiki/FAQ#Can_SUMO_simulate_lefthand_traffic.3F
At the very least you should expect to spent a lot of time hand-correcting the network. However, it may well be that the generated network will have faulty junction logic somewhere.
