Dear All
I am dealing with OD2TRIPS in order to simulate the actual mobility patterns of
vehicles in my city, and I know that OD2TRIPS deals with street's name (The
required data from Ministry of Transport could have both name, and
longitude/latitude) , and  I am able to generate trips.xml. But, when I want to
create rou.xml by "duarouter" , I need net.xml which the name of streets are
shown by ID and lane numbers and this format is different with the previous
steps (ID/lane number vs Street's name).How can I have consistent IDs for a
large project such as a city?

To make it simple: (Trips.xml uses name of the streets and Rou.xml, and net.xml
use ID, and lanes)Trips.xml is like this (name of streets): <trip id="0"
depart="432.00" from="a1" to="b2" fromTaz="1" toTaz="2" departLane="free"
departSpeed="max"/>

Rou.xml and net.xmls are like these (ID and lanes): <edge id=":1096168863_4"
function="internal">
        <lane id=":1096168863_4_0" index="0" speed="22.22" length="2.46"
shape="644934.16,5493453.96 644934.39,5493453.05 644935.44,5493451.95"/>
    </edge>
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,<route id="route0"
edges="-39539626 -5445204#2 .......

Is PTV VISSUM is the appropriate tool for this purpose? I am not sure about PTV
VISSUM, because I have sent my request to PTV Group, but no approval yet, it
seems it may take some times.

And Second Question:
Could you kindly explain more what does "Factor" mean in O/D as stated in
"http://sumo.dlr.de/daily/userdoc/Demand/Importing_O/D_Matrices.html";?
Kind regards
Mohsen
