Hi Samuel, if you want to incorporate them into a running simulation you will have to use traci. The easiest way is probably to add a new POI for every new coordinate (or move an existing one). If you want to use the python client, see http://sumo.dlr.de/pydoc/traci.poi.html. For coordinate transformation use either pyproj or http://sumo.dlr.de/pydoc/traci.simulation.html.
