it depends on what you want to achieve ;-). The offset always relates to time 0 not to the simulation begin time, so probably you do not need to change the offset value. > > 2- if i want to use WAUT, suppose I have this > <WAUT startProg="0" refTime="0" id="w8"> > <wautSwitch to="Night" time="900"></wautSwitch> > <wautSwitch to="AM Peak" time="23400"></wautSwitch> > <wautSwitch to="Off Peak" time="34200"></wautSwitch> > <wautSwitch to="PM Peak1" time="54000"></wautSwitch> > <wautSwitch to="PM Peak2" time="54900"></wautSwitch> > <wautSwitch to="Off Peak" time="66600"></wautSwitch> > <wautSwitch to="Night" time="81000"></wautSwitch> > > </ Wauters> > should I set the refTime to be 0+x ? where x is the simulation start time If you always want to switch at 900 regardless whether your simulation starts at 0 or at 200, keep it as it is. > 3- what does *procedure and **synchron really do ?* It changes the way the switching between the programs is performed. There are three switching procedures pre-defined. The default one simply switches the programs when the time step is reached, the "Stretch" procedure tries to extend green times to have a smoother transition and "GSP" (which stands for "Günstigster Schaltzeitpunkt" = "best switching time") reads the "GSP" parameter from the logic to determine the precise time. The synchron parameter determines whether the new program is adapted to the current state of the ld one before it is started.
