Thank you Francois, I appreciate your feedback! I understand the open source nature of OSM and the freedom researchers have to edit OSM networks however they please. The issue I am having must have to do with the netconvert SUMO process because the respective intersections are represented as signalized in OSM however after the SUMO import they are no longer represented this way. That is what I particularly take interested in.
I hope someone better versed in SUMO development than I can find a way to correct this issue.
