Hello evryone, Hello Jakob i have a question about a calibration of a sumo model. I have the measurement of the relative speed and gap distribution in the real world (highway A8). I have also information about the traffic flow on this way. With this information I want to calibrate my Sumo model.
I read a paper with the topic: “ Calibrating a Motorway Segment in SUMO Using Single Vehicle Data” It’s well describe the way to do that. But it’s the first time for me to do a calibrating. It’s why I want firstly to ask if we have a Sumo a tool with enable to calibrate a model. (maybe it’s possible to have the code which was used to calibrate the example of the Paper mentioned above ?) I have extended the documentation to describe this better. See http://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/TraCI/Change_Vehicle_State#move_to_XY_.280xb4.29 In your case you need to use keepRoute=2 in order to model the trajectory. best regards, Jakob 2017-01-25 13:22 GMT+01:00 FIXED-TERM Damdjo Wabo Christian (CR/AEE3) <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>>: All right ! I please you to excuse me about this mistake. I send you in the attached the right Data_file. With the screen shot of the behavior by using KeepRoute 0. Yesterday I send you already the Sumo model. With the net and additional file. If you need also something else, please tell me. Thank you very much Best regard, Chrisitian Von: FIXED-TERM Damdjo Wabo Christian (CR/AEE3) Gesendet: Montag, 23. And now I just begin with my master thesis (since this week). I hope you are going good. At the first I want to wish you a happy new year. May this year 2017 give you all, what you dream. I try today the effect of the MovetoXY function. Firstly I want to thank from the bottom of my heart for the time that you take. I use now the release 22644 and I think that all bugs in the function movetoXY are not fixed. I have always a comic behavior of the vehicle by using this function. I don’t know if you can help me. - In the first picture I used keepRoute =0 as you can see in the blue curve the car In Sumo have a delay by the overtakingmanöver. The Car don’t begin to overtake at the same time than the car in CM. - When I used KeepRoute =2 it’s seem better to working (see picture second picture) but it’s crashing for a reason that I can’t explain I send you also the Data file and my model. Thank you very much for the help. I hope you can give me here some hint, that can help me. If you have any question about my docs you can ask it. Hope to heart you soon! The issue appears to be centered around mapping to a lane that is running opposite to the driving direction (if this is not your intention I recommend you build your network with the option --lefthand). * keepRoute = 1. What you see is the intended behavior since the opposite direction-lane is not considered part of the route * keepRoute = 0. I've fixed this in [22323]. The vehicle is now mapped onto the opposite direction lane (there was a problem with the angle being weighted more strongly than the distance which caused the behavior you described) * keepRoute = 2. There was some crashing when trying to access the vehicle property dialog (now fixed) and the vehicle was not drawn correctly (now fixed as well) but I could not reproduce deadlocks or crashes besides that. best regards, Jakob 2016-12-16 15:11 GMT+01:00 FIXED-TERM Damdjo Wabo Christian (DGS-EC/ESY1) <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>>: Hi Jakob, I remark today again something strange in the function moveToXY. Maybe all bug are not fixed. (I used the last version (SVN-r22225)). I send you in the attached : 1- The trajectory of the vehicle in Sumo when I used movetoXY. Red is my Input in Sumo and blue is the trajectory by using movetoXY. You can see a difference between them. You can see that the Car in one program drive left (red curve) and in Sumo this car drive right (with same route). This behavior is to show when I used keeproute “0” or “1”. When I used keeproute “2” the simulation stop to run. 2- I send you also “net.file” and “input_additional_file”. I send you also x,y, and yaw(in degree). Maybe can fixed them? Thank you very much and I wish you in advance a nice Week end. Best regards Christian Von: Jakob Erdmann [mailto:[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>] Gesendet: Dienstag, 6. It would help if you could supply the net.xml file that was used along with a set of moveToXY parameters that can be used to reprodue one of the mis-location instances regards, Jakob 2016-12-05 17:13 GMT+01:00 FIXED-TERM Damdjo Wabo Christian (DGS-EC/ESY1) <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>>: Hi everyone, I do a co-Simulation between Sumo and another Program. I take the position from this program to set it in Sumo. For this reason I used MOVE To XY (with keeposition 0) in Traci. But sometime I have another position in Sumo that I can't explain why it's happened. In picture trajectory (see attached docs) I put the trajectory of Car in the both program. Can we explain this difference with a teleporting from the Car. Or how can we explain it? Could you also tell me what I can do against this effect ? Thank you very much for your time and hope to read you very soon !
