Hello Gerald, such a document does not yet exist. However, at http://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/SUMO_User_Documentation#Model_details there are details on special aspects of the life cycle. I would prefer to keep the details in these pages but would not mind if you added a general life-cycle outline that links to the appropriate pages.
Regarding your special interest, see http://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/Simulation/VehicleSpeed#edge.2Flane_speed To answer the question on how to best interfere, you will need to elaborate on the non-standard behavior you which to achieve. best regards, Jakob 2017-06-23 17:16 GMT+02:00 Richter Gerald <[email protected]>: > Hi all, > > what would greatly help me at the moment is information about details on > what happens in an agent's life. > Something like a sequence of possible events: > > "The World According to SUMO-agents" > > 1. get blinked into existence > > * get all attributes defined > * have a route to follow? > * OK > * do routing & get one > * speed distribution & characteristics > * set parameters > * initial speed > * ... > * being put at an insertion point on the 1st link > * where am I? > * what is around me? > * do I need some behavioral changes? > * -> make it so > > 1. move my simulation step distance > > * will come to the end of this link within the next step? > * take actions > * did cross onto a junction > * do the junction crossing dance > * ... > * did cross onto a new link > * link properties/restrictions have changed > * adapt behavior (e.g. speed, ...) > * ... > * still moving, or bored for too long? > * -> get teleported to the afterlife > * something unusual happened > * want to take another path > * -> reroute > * ... > > 1. reached destination > > * it is a parking area > * park > * -> idle away > * did leave last link > * drive off the edge of the disc > * -> get blinked to the afterlife > > 1. reiterate -> 2. > > Does this already exist? > I could put it in the wiki, hoping that it will grow in detail as > necessary. > > My special interest is in what happens on link-crossing, > when speed restrictions change from link to link. > -And how to elegantly interfere with this process to generate non-standard > behavior. > > Thanks & regards, > Gerald. > > -- > > > GERALD RICHTER > Scientist > Dynamic Transportation Systems > Center for Mobility Systems > > AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH > > ------------------------------------------------------------ > ------------------ > Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most > engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot > _______________________________________________ > sumo-user mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/sumo-user > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ sumo-user mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/sumo-user
