Hi Paul, I am a dialist in Las Vegas...like you, mine is an amateur interest. I make portable dials that I give to friends and unsuspecting strangers : > )) and analemmatic /Lambert dials which I put on school grounds in Las Vegas. I too am interested in a program [that I can run on my Mac] that would make it easier to make my portable dials, and I am wondering if there is an easier way to make the anammlatic dials. Now, a friend and I are using a very large paper stencil that took us many hours to make. We paint the image on the playground's asphalt surface. Would like to get away from the stencil. But don't know how. If anyone has any suggestion I would appreciate it.
