I have just joined this list, and am delighted to find that I am not the only dialler in the world.
My interest is in making and refurbishing dials on a strictly amateur basis. To do so it is necessary for me to calculate by hand the hour angles, a long and tedious process. I use the process outlined in Waugh's book. I wonder if the combined wisdom of the other list members can recommend a computer programme which will do this task. Also where it can be obtained.
