Hi all,
Thanks to everyone who has answered (or has made comments) for my
request
for information on books on how to MAKE sundials.

I now have a book on its way from the USA from Jim Smittle who is a member
of the Sundial mailing list. Jim is going to purchase the book (Letter
Cutting in stone) and is going to send it to me in Australia. In return I
am going to send Jim a book about Australia. Thanks Jim.

Thanks also to Tony Moss - (Lindisfarne Sundials) for his offer to purchase
the book (letter cutting in stone) for me and to send it to me in
Australia. Tony I will wait for the other book and then will see if it is
the same book. THANKs very much for your offer I may take you up on that.
Also thanks Tony for your information on how to make concrete sundials. I
am going to try this and see how it works out.

Thanks also to John Pickard (and others) for their information on engraving
and where to obtain books in the Internet. I have had a liik at the
Internet book sites (URLs) and they are good.

Comment: What about (us all) putting together a FAQ file on methods on how
to make sundials (or whatever). If everyone is interested I would be
willing to put it together into a file suitable for the web if you all
would email me the contents of our FAQ file. We would also have to find a
web site to put our FAQ files onto. What do you think?

Has anyone else worked out a method for making sundials (in any type of
materials). If you have would you please...please let us all know so that
we can all make different types of sundials in different materials. Lets
all learn via the mailing list.

Thanks: Roderick Wall.
