Greetings. I will be visiting Ottawa and Prince Edward Island in Canada in late October, and would be grateful for news of any interesting sundials in these areas.
When I return, I will write them up as new "Sundial Trails" for "Sundials on the Internet". If any colleagues are interested in doing trails for their areas, I would happily give them Web space. Sundial Trails are a very important way of broadening interest in sundials, and thus serve a useful educational purpose. So if you know of a group of sundials which can be visited in a day or half-day, either by car or on foot, and can string them together with suitable directions for getting from one to the other, please will you do so. There is no set format for them. The webpage www.sundials.co.uk/sunlist.htm give details of the existing trails, in the UK, France, Netherlands, Canada, and USA.
