I have a book on the cathedral which manages to mention not a single
sundial. Makes you wonder how many other sundials exist but shun publicity.

Yes, six dials are indexed on the Cathédrale. Four dials (~1572) (of which
the meridian one) were used for different times to regulate the successive
astronomical clocks. "The Man with the Sundial"(1493) is over the
astronomical clock's door...

(I carried out a small booklet... in French! It's better than this Altavista
Translation!!!)
