Pam,

I once saw a show on TV that set forth the theory that the perceived passage
of time is related to the subject's rate of metabolism.

Kids have a high rate of metabolism, and time seems to creep for them.
As we grow older, our metabolism slows down, and time seems to accelerate
accordingly.

Interesting concept to be sure...
