Dear Tony: Thank you so much for your much needed eye-opening comments and observations on the tragic near death situation of craftsmanship in the world today. I don't think people realize that unless sundials actually get built, the world will never know what wonderful things they are. It is a shame that they are so rare because they aren't being built. All the fabulous little sundial models and all of the groundbreaking new designs that we see in the Compendium are just academic exercises unless they actually get built and are placed outside for everyone to see and enjoy.
