Friends in New Zealand have a simple portable version. When touring in their bus, converted into a summer motor caravan, the roof is completely covered with several layers of a continuous length of coiled black hosepipe filled with water. This provides a long hot shower and washes the dishes at the end of a dusty day's travel. Tony Moss
