Dear Luke,

I am glade that you like the Analemmatic Sundial with the number a_3500 in
Leoben, Styria (not in Tyrol). The pedestal with the dateline has many
advantages. The length of each human becomes 50 cm larger. The shadow
becomes longer with it. That is an advantage in the summer.
The flat sundial becomes better recognize of the passer-bys through the
pedestal. Furthermore, much uses the pedestal as seat.
The sundial was calculated and drawn with the program of Fer de Vries.
