Dear friends, I have, in my web site, two sections called "gnomonica nell'arte (gnomonic in the art)" and " l'Arte nella gnomonica (the Art in the gnomonic)". In the first sections I try to collect as much as it may, subjects (drawings, paintings, sculptures, etc.) where the gnomonic is represented in the artistic subjects (as you may see in the holbain' ambassadors picture). The second one (the art in gnomonic) would collect as much as it may sundial made or decorated by artists (better for known artists). It is not easy to collect those subjects that's why I ask for your help. I will be glad if some of you may help me sending me scanned images relatives to those two subjects, for enrich my sections. Because of the big files scanned, I suggest you to advertise before sending.
