To all those coming on the BSS Scotland tour, please do not take
notice of the poem about the weather by Mike Shaw. He lives in the west of
Britain where it is always wet, while in Scotland in June it will be bright
and sunny with only a little rain at night to make the grass grow greener
(but bring a mac 'just in case').
Although officially full we could just take two more on this tour. 3rd to
11th June, eight nights stay in two centres, Galloway and Perth/Fife area.
Visits to sundials, gardens museums, castles, including Calzean on the
Ayrshire coast and Glamis, a royal residence since 1372, where we will have
special permission to examine the magnificent multifaceted sundial. Good
food
and accommodation, comfortable coach and the good company of fellow
dialists.
If interested ask me for further details.
