Hi Art,

In Belgium Wim Geerts wanted to make such a dial with a polar style on a
( nearly ) south facing wall.
lat 51.25N
incl 90
decl 3.5W ( I think it is West )

A drawing of the pattern on that dial is attached.

You may see clearly that the straight hourlines now are changed into curves.
Each ring in this drawing covers 2 months.

This dial isn't realized.

In the real dial the style has an angle of 35 degrees to the horizon in
stead of 51.25 degrees.
Also the style is placed in a plane perpendicular to the wall.
The pattern changes a little by doing this.
There is some extra space between the hourlines.
