I see how this dial is read, but I'm puzzled by the date lines. Maybe it isn't clear in the GIF image: It appears that you have date lines from 12/01 on the left, through 06/01, where the shadow is marked (at 1600), to 01/01 on the right. The problem is, that one line per month doesn't come out to January on the right, but rather to November? Dave
