Hi Dave,
your observation is correct : In the drawig the last part at left is
missing.

In the program that draws the Monofilars Sundials there is a little error:
the date
lines should be traced from the date 1/1, to the date... 13/1, that is
again to the date 1/1 passing through 12/1.
The program doesn't draw the last segments of the hour lines between
the last imputed date (in the example 12/1) and the following one (again
1/1 or 13/1 as you prefer).

In the programs the date lines can be chosen every N days, the first day of
every month, the first and the 15, the first, the 10 and the 20 of every
month, etc.

Hi Dan,
I know your spherical Wenger Sundial (that I consider a brilliant idea),
but I think that my interactive sundials are different even if a finger can
be used also in them to point out the time.
In my sundials there is no hour lines but only date lines .
To explain better how they work I attach the image of a small model: the
image has few details since I have had to reduce the length of the file.

It is a horizontal sundial in which, for simplicity, I have traced the date
lines only since 1/1 to 7/1 (one every 15 days)
The hours (Standard Time) are marked on the vertical pole (it is not
possible to see them in the JPG) and are equally spaced : at the top the 12
and below the 13-11, 14-10, etc.
The indicator is a small sliding ring on the pole
