Hello. John has a very interesting point, and I like Anselmo's idea of mounting the mirror to produce a polar dial. What a pity that Oregon is making a big push to rid our environment of mercury, mainly by recalling Hg thermometers! (I'll still keep a bit -- tightly sealed -- around for experiments like this.
