How about using aluminum foil, and using a paper punch to excise a clean hole? I estimate the foil is about 0.001" thick. Bill G. --------------- Now that the Solstice is near, this is the best time of year to check and adjust the alignment of your sundial with a mathematical method I developed last year and wrote into a simple program. It is very accurate and easy to use. It is called SundialAlign!.exe, and is available free at my website, www.precisionsundials.com. You can set your dial to tell solar time, standard time, or daylight savings. If you do try it out, please let me how it worked for you, along with any suggestions.
