flame war; I sort of suspected something of the kind -- there are many ways of getting clients (many of my own clients when I was a translator never came to me for a written translation, for example).
So I'm relieved we got no flame war, but at the same time a bit sad; those of us who were online in the early days of the Net (92-95) regret them just a bit: the Net is not as vigorous as it once was...
