Fellow shadow watchers,
Over recent months I have supplied several sets of
engineering drawings of the Pilkington & Gibbs Type 1 Heliochronometer
(bowl base) which included a line drawing and 'guesstimations' of the
relevant dimensions for a P&G Type 5 (Universal) model but didn't think
to keep detailed records of individuals involved. Thanks to the
generosity of Andrew James I now have all of the relevant dimensions from
an actual measured example of this 'easier to make' model. If the
individuals involved care to jog my memory I will send a dimensioned JPEG
which tells all.
