Greetings British dialists,
Press trailer for a TV programme tomorrow Monday, 8 pm Channel 4:
Lost Worlds: According to geologist and space scientist Dr. Farouk El
Baz the western Sahara Desert was once a lush hospitable Eden, peopled
by civilised and ingenious farmers, artists and sundial makers.
Megalithic structures marked their leaders' passing - a tradition
continued when their descendants resettled along the banks of the Nile,
while further inspiration was taken from conical land formations. And
hence, we have the pyramids - "Structures that lead to the heavens".
