The little book by Peter I. Drinkwater ( about 82 pages) is not a "mathematical" book on Sundials. The aspect of the book and the geometric constructions (some very complicated) are in fact the most important part of the book. Only in the Appendix (5 pages) we find some simple formulae. The writing and the drawings look like the books of the Cinquecento.
