I remember that St Margaret church, near

Now, I was wondering: is "cupola" the right term for this thing? In French you call it "une lanterne", while "une coupole" is a dome; of course, English is not my mother language, is there any architectural terminology buff out there to, well, enlight me (éclairer ma lanterne)?
