You may recall some 'how to do it' notes on anodising aluminium I sent to 
the SML some years ago in which I mentioned that we had experimentally 
applied multi-coloured line work and even photographs to the anodised 
surface.  

Been there! Done that! Got the tee-shirt!.....but not on quite the scale 
or quality of the fine work done by the company John lists.

P.S.  I now have a small stock of the specialised metallic colour dyes 
used in anodising if anyone is SERIOUSLY interested in experimenting. UK
