Yesterday I took a time lapse movie of the beams of light at Kate Pond's Odyssey of Light sculpture in South Burlington, Vermont. It was the day before the Equinox. The movie compresses 80 minutes into 5 seconds, and can be seen at

I took the movie with a pocket digital camera mounted on gizmo made from my son's Kinex toys. It took a photo every 20 seconds, and then I assembled them into a movie with MGI VideoWaveIII. You can see a photo and a movie of this contraption on my private page for members of this sundial list:
