Besides a Calibration Panel, the program I mentioned yesterday also calculates (and displays!--this is a Mac, after all) an analemmatic dial for any location and any orientation, a soda can dial (this is a dial of my own design), and a ring dial. The program corrects for the equation of time, for the longitude, and for the refraction of the atmosphere. The program comes with online help, so no user's manual is required (I hope).
