Thank you Daniel for all your help and the enjoyment you have given me in
setting my options.
I understand the idea of setting a preferred language ~ but you have to
start off in German and progress from there. As a non-German speaker (shame
on me) I used Babel-fish to translate chunks of German and received
wonderful interpretations!
However, all done now ~ with many a smile en-route (I don't speak much
French either!)
