Given the recession, I make the assumption that you may have reduced prices somewhat to try and attract new custom. Perhaps then you have to look to the future, by making the point that by buying now people will save money when things are better (as they surely will be.......someday) and prices start to rise again. In fact I might try to use a slogan like "Buy your 'time' today and save for tomorrow/the future". But then again, I am not in business, nor have any known marketing skills (it probably shows). As you might guess, it is not good, since we sell luxury non-essential goods. I can only speak for my own business, Sundial Sculptures. Beginning two or three months ago, I began to notice a decrease in sundial orders and inquiries. It has gotten progressively worse. New sales have stopped completely now. I'm only working on completing old orders that were made before the economic crisis began. I'm worried about the future.
