Ah, the Tastaturwiederholungsgeschwindigkeit, one of my favorite words. No, sorry, there's no supported way to control it. Perhaps in the next release. > This one of the loudest complaints of my users when switching from > Linux PC to SunRay. Only the unsupported hack of editing /opt/SUNWut/lib/utxsun and adding the desired -ar1 and -ar2 options to the Xsun command line that gets exec'd at the end of the file. Of course this change will affect everyone. > - We activated the "non-smartcard mobile session" behaviour. > Sometimes, mouse and keyboard stop working when users > running Gnome (the version from blastwave.org) reattach their session. > They have to wait for the screensaver to activate - after that mouse and > keyboard are working again. > Has anyone an idea about this? That's strange. The lock program will grab keyboard and mouse input, maybe it's forgetting to ungrab them. Under NSCM the lock dialog itself should never appear because a Sun Ray module on the lock program's PAM stack preempts it. If the lock program relies on the dialog to ungrab the keyboard and mouse then that would explain this failure. I haven't seen this problem but then I haven't tried the blastwave packages. As an experiment you could remove (comment out) the pam_sunray module from the 'xscreensaver' PAM configuration. That will mean that when you re-enter the session you'll have to manually unlock it after you've passed through the NSCM dialogs, but that might free up the mouse and keyboard. Log out, or at least restart the lock daemon in your session, after making that edit. OttoM. __ ottomeister Disclaimer: These are my opinions.
