Nice to hear the mailing list is working again it's a big help in
frustrating times ;-).
I would like to have a mobile sunray set for demo purposes.
Does anybody know of an option to "burn" a sunray server or tftpserver
ip address or hostname into the sunray firmware on a DTU?
If the sunray can find the sunray server without the help of dns or dhcp
options I can use it any ware without making changes to the local dhcp
or dns.
I thought the .parms files in /tftpboot would accomplish this but it
turns out that these files are not stored on the DTU they are only read
when the Sunray DTU has already found the Sunray server by the ordinary
dhcp or dns routine.
Any suggestions?
I would be surprised if Sun did not already made something to solve this.
