you can safely disable tooltalk, and just about everything else in
inetd.conf.
here's what i run, only utrcmd and tftp are related to SRSS.

100242/1 rpc.metamedd
100422/1 rpc.mdcommd
rstatd/2-4 rpc.rstatd
100424/1 stfsloader
tftp in.tftpd
