SRSS 3.0, Solaris 9, SPARC
I visited Sun in Indianapolis a couple of weeks ago, and the people I
spoke with indicated it should be possible to export all of the data out
of the SRSS LDAP data store, import it into my Sun Java Directory
Server, and then point all the servers in my failover group to my
primary LDAP server.
Can I truly do this and does anyone have a how-to?
Are the instructions on page 193 of the admin guide something I can
exploit to achieve this goal?
What I'm hung up on right now is that the utdsd is not returning a
RootDSE as pursuant to the RFC, nor does its cn=schema ou appear to be
functional for returning schema data. Also nothing in
/opt/SUNWut/srds/default is formatted in such as way that S1DS can take
advantage of it, let alone in LDIF format.
