I have a couple SunRay 150's that will only read our older smart cards (part number 370-4328-01, there is another smaller number under it: 35930) but not our newer ones (part number 370-4333-02, with a smaller number under the part number: 38047)
both set of cards came directly from Sun. It will read any older card in the building but none of the newer cards. I have 10 more 150's that have no problem reading both sets of cards. The SunRay 150 part number is: 380-0343-01. The older cards are the ones with the Sun graphics printed on them while the new ones are blank without the graphics.
