What firmware are these units running? What release of SRSS is the server running, and are its patches up to date? > both set of cards came directly from Sun. The original Sun smartcards were Schlumberger MicroPayflex cards. At some point Schlumberger discontinued those cards so Sun switched to Payflex instead. I thought the Sun Ray 150 firmware could always read both types of cards but it's possible there was an early version that could only handle MicroPayflex, perhaps some of your 150s have that version. If that's what's going on then upgrading the firmware should take care of it. > The older cards are the ones with the Sun graphics printed on them > while the new ones are blank without the graphics. If you start a desktop in a session on one of the old cards then what does 'echo $SUN_SUNRAY_TOKEN' say in that session? What does it say in a session on one of the new cards?
