The purpose of 'utadm -A' is to automate the creation of DHCP
entries for the specified non-interconnect subnet. If you don't need to provide DHCP service to that subnet then you don't need 'utadm -A', you can just run 'utadm -L on' instead.

It would be nice if 'utadm -A' had some options to get this very useful generated DHCP information in some way other than updating the local dhcpmgr settings.

My DHCP server is Sun's running on Solaris 9; however, it is not an SRSS server. So every time I make some changes and do 'utadm -A' stuff I have to launch 'dhcpmgr' on the SRSS and _manually_ copy the settings onto my real DHCP server.

My frustration also comes from the fact that the import feature in dhcpmgr doesn't have a "union" feature to automagically mix the settings I'm importing with my existing settings, specifically in the case of macros.

If 'utadm -A' would just output what it is doing to a file or even just to the screen, I would at least be saved the extra step of launching 'dhcpmgr' on the SRSS server.
