Dave, /dev/audio exists there as part of a default installation or was installed by one of the packages I had installed as part of the steps in the wiki. The wiki is based installing SRSS on to a clean install of Ubuntu. -- Regards, Naaman Campbell Graduate IT Officer Teys Bros https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuOnSunRay https://wiki.ubuntu.com/CorporateUbuntu
