for your faxing needs i'd recommend setting up a network fax server, and
none can touch hylafax, http://www.hylafax.org. precompiled packages are
ready to go for solaris and are avialable from blastwave.org and they work
great, but then i may be a little biased since i'm the maintainer.

while setting up hylafax isn't trival it isn't really difficult. and
seeing that this isn't the proper forum to discuss setting up a hylafax
server i'll end my rant.
