On Solaris I have tested SunForum and works great but is quite old.
Is the Lucent softphone free? Can I download a demo ?

Sun has done with with Lucent. Sun Ray 3.1 has enhancements for VOIP as
well, but I don't know of any one who's been doing anything other than
the Lucent soft phone as that's pretty much what's available for
Solaris. Would love to hear your ideas.

Regarding rdesktop + WinTS, that won't work. RDP does not have upstream
audio. Citrix supports it (They call it Digital Dictation), but I'm not
sure how good it would be when combined with a Sun Ray due to the added
latency of two platforms.
