That doesn't sound familiar. What's reported in /var/dt/Xerrors on the Sun Ray server when this happens? What's in your /etc/dt/config/Xaccess or /usr/dt/config/Xaccess files on the Sun Ray server? What happens if you use '-indirect' instead of '-query'? Can a process on the Sun Ray server resolve the IP address of the workstation to a name?
