But every time there is an issue with a Sun Ray, the first thing out of
Support's mouth is generally have you patched/updated firmware?  If not,
call us back when you have....So you do pretty much need to keep up to date.

Any system from that era could access Solaris or Linux as a dumb client,
same as Sun Ray (thanks to SGD).

Sun sells and supports SRSS separately from the Sun Ray hardware itself.  I
don't think you can tie the SRSS costs in with that of the hardware,
especially now that there are 3rd party hardware units.
