And how well does it handle normal display items, like web browsers
and office applications or CAD?

Different codecs are optimized for different situations.
The Sun Ray was (and I believe still is) designed and optimized for
office type applications, 2D CAD, etc.

I thought we were comparing thin clients with each other... then it
goes off in left field comparing to full PCs, now we're out in orbit
comparing them to video-players?
I bet my car can out-accelorate your boat too... but what good is that
type of comparison?
