Good Morning!

Recently a client called me that requires access to a floppy drive (yeah, plain old
1,44" diskettes ;)) to move sensitive information. It has to be a floppy - no
other USB mass storage options are applicable. So I tried a Sitecom USB floppy drive
that I had lying around here, but it doesn't respond when plugged into my Sun Ray
150 I'm currently working with. The server itself is a SPARC box running Solaris 10
and the newest SRSS release (including the patch-cluster that comes with SRS4).
The Sun Ray USB compatibility list [1] doesn't contain any advice on USB
floppies. Has someone managed to connect such device to a Sun Ray? If yes,
which setup do You use? Perhaps some general advice on this?

Thanks in advance!

Christian
